Meet Rosa Torres​

Meet Rosa, a long time East Village Arts District resident who rides with Long Beach Transit to commute to work at the Mar Mel Inn Bed & Breakfast for Cats & Dogs in Zaferia, where she showers pets with love and attention.

“Luckily I live by the Transit Gallery where I have access to several transit routes, so I can take the bus anywhere” she shares.

When Rosa has free time, she enjoys going down to the 4th Street corridor to take advantage of the diverse food options available in the area. One of her favorite spots is The HipPea, a vegan restaurant specializing in Middle Eastern cuisine. Want to try out Rosa’s favorite restaurant? Hop aboard the 151 and exit at 4th and Cherry.

Although Rosa rides on several LBT routes, one of her favorites is route 121 along Ocean Boulevard, as she enjoys the scenic views and access to the coastal path to ride her skateboard.
