How to get your tap card (iOS)

Long Beach, CA – Long Beach Transit (LBT) will provide complimentary bus service on all routes from 5:00 p.m. on Dec. 31, 2025, through approximately 2:00 a.m. on Jan. 1, 2025, to support safe New Year’s Eve celebrations. 

LBT will also offer extended late-night service on select routes connecting to Downtown Long Beach. The agency is focused on helping customers avoid traffic, avert parking issues, or driving after celebrating. Details on extended routes and departure times are available at ridelbt.com/routes, then selecting the particular route and clicking “NYE” to view the schedule.

Complimentary fares are only available on New Year’s Eve. LBT routes will operate on a reduced Sunday schedule on Dec. 25, 2025, and Jan. 1, 2026. Full holiday schedules can also be found at ridelbt.com/routes, under each route’s “HOL” tab.
